  1. Short :  HD fix for Dungeon Master v3.6

  5. This patch applies to "Dungeon Master (release v3.6)" by FTL (c) 1992 - 1 disk.
  6. Install needs about 2.0 MB of HD space and Installer utility in path,
  7. and uses fmsdisk.device, download it from aminet:disk/misc/fmsdisk.lha

  9. FEATURES:

  11. - Full loading from HD (all trackdisk.device accesses emulated)
  12. - Load/Save from HD
  13. - NI/MWB icon (created by JHZ)
  14. - Convenient installer script

  16. NOTES:
  17.  No disk should have been inserted at the start of DM (since trackdisk
  18. device isnt accessible anymore), and booting with original chipset may
  19. be needed.

  21. NOTES ABOUT SAVEGAME DISK:
  22.  Use corresponding install script to install your savegame disk
  23. (you can insert a blank formatted Dos-disk if you dont have one). Enter the 
  24. directory where you have Dungeon Master installed.
  25.  If theres no valid gamepositiondisk, start DM, select any character,
  26. access the save-menu and format, then reboot your amiga (fmsdisk doesnt
  27. perform a diskchange for new formatted virtual disks).
  28. While playing, its not a that bad idea to backup UNIT1 (your gameposition)
  29. now and then.
